Five Medifast Meals

Choose five Meals every day from over 70 different and delicious Medifast choices organized in logical categories like breakfast, lunch, snacks, desserts, and drinks. Meal options include shakes, soups, stews, chili, oatmeal, eggs, fruit drinks, iced teas, hot drinks, and bars (limit one per day). You can even select puddings and other yummy deserts!

One Lean & Green Meal

You prepare the Lean & Green Meal yourself or enjoy it in a restaurant as long as you follow the Lean & Green Meal guidelines. Your Lean & Green Meal consists of a lean meat plus salad and/or vegetables. Enjoy your Lean & Green Meal anytime you choose—breakfast, lunch, dinner, or whenever works best with your schedule.

Lean & Green Meal Guidelines:

  • 5-7 ounces (cooked weight) of a lean meat such as chicken, turkey, fish, beef, pork, lamb, or shellfish that is grilled, baked, or poached (no frying). Meatless options can also be used and include eggs and veggie burgers.
  • Up to three servings from the Medifast approved condiment list.
  • Any 3 servings from the Medifast non-starchy vegetable list which includes salad greens, broccoli, spinach, eggplant, and tomatoes.

Remember that you can have your Lean & Green Meal at any point in your day in addition to your five Medifast Meals.
